A highly renowned paladin who graduated from the prestigious knight academy in the capital city and later began serving the king. At his king's behest, he ventured to a location known as the Necromancer's Tower, an ominous structure on a rocky cliffside surrounded by thick forest and overlooking Charlotte's village. The tower was home to the kingdom's most powerful dark magic user, known only as the Necromancer, whom Gabriel had been ordered to slay. In spite of Gabriel's power and reputation as the most revered knight in the land, he perished at the hands of the Necromancer. Not long after he was unwillingly resurrected by Charlotte, whom he resents.
As a paladin, Gabriel is bound by a sacred oath to uphold justice and righteousness and purge evil in the name of the light. He makes his decisions based on honor first and foremost, followed shortly by logic. For him, selfish or cowardly decision-making is completely out of the question, and he will always put others first. Gabriel holds both himself and others to the highest standards of virtue, and while he is far from egotistical, he does regard himself highly because of his achievements and good deeds and thinks of himself as better than dark magic practitioners like Charlotte. For someone who prefers to work alone as it is, there couldn't be a worse adventuring partner for him.
