My History With Pokémon
In spite of being one of the series closest to my heart, I haven't been playing Pokémon as long as some other people have. I was actually fourteen years old when I first got my hands on both a 3DS and my first Pokémon game, Pokémon Moon, in 2016. The hype surrounding the game and some of my friends interested me in playing it, and I immediately fell in love with the game and the series as a whole and have kept up on the releases since then. Aside from playing with my Pokémon, my favorite thing to do in each game is complete the Pokédex and unlock the shiny charm so I can shiny hunt.
Outside of actually playing the games, I love reading about and watching videos on the series, particularly concerning things like glitches, unused or beta content, and soft locks. Beta Pokémon leaks were exciting times for me. Those aspects of games are always intriguing, but I think especially so in the case of Pokémon. I have a pretty big collection of Pokémon trading cards, plushies, figures, and other random items too. Pokémon is basically like a forever fandom for me.
Some Pokémon Opinions
- My favorite Pokémon is Stufful, because of how cute and grumpy it is, with Sylveon and Alcremie being close seconds
- My favorite type is the Fairy type, because I love cute and pink Pokémon. I know the type is more than just that, though, and I like those more scary fae folklore inspired Pokémon too.
- My favorite NPC is definitely Arven, by a long shot, his story made me emotional. I also really enjoy Iono, in a "she's just like me FR" kind of way. Rika is really fun and handsome, I have a crush on her. They're all from Scarlet and Violet, because that game really made a good impression on me.
- I will say the first NPC I went crazy for was actually Guzma, surprisingly. I still love him a lot.
- On that note, my favorite game in the series is Scarlet and Violet. A lot of people may not like it, but I had a really good time playing it and I think it has the best story and characters in a Pokémon game so far.
- To no one's surprise, my favorite Mega Evolutions are Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, and Mega Audino.
- Out of all of the uncovered beta Pokémon, Rinrin and Berunrun, Kotora and Raitora, and the beta Wooper are the ones I would have liked to have been kept in the game the most. Remember what they took from you.
- My favorite PokéMikus are Fairy (obviously), Psychic, and Water.
- Unpopular opinion? I loved the Rotom Pokédex. I miss him and his comments.

These answers aren't perfect, because there are some spots where I really loved multiple Pokémon of the same type within the same generation and others where I was like, "Yeah, sure, this one is good," but it's really fun to fill these out. The Pokémon in the team section were lovingly picked out for me by one of my friends.
