My History With Pokémon
In spite of being one of the franchises closest to my heart, I haven't been playing Pokémon as long as some other people have. I was actually fourteen when I first got my hands on both a 3DS and my first Pokémon game, Pokémon Moon, in 2016. The hype surrounding the game and some of my friends interested me in playing it, and I immediately fell in love with the game and the series as a whole and have kept up on the releases since then, always deadset on completing the entire Pokédex, as I am a huge fan of collectathons.
I regularly find myself shiny-hunting, reading about and watching videos about the series, and interacting with fan-made content online. I love Pokémon for what it is on the surface, but I also love to learn about glitches, unused content, soft locks, and more. Not to mention my growing collection of trading cards, Pokémon plushies, accessories, and figures. This shrine is a special place for me to discuss my feelings about the series and show off my shinies and collectibles.
My favorite Pokémon is Stufful, because of how cute and spirited it is, while my favorite type is the Fairy type, because I love cute and pink designs. My favorite NPC is definitely Arven, by a long shot. I am utterly obsessed with him; I'm not normal. I also really enjoy Iono, though, in a "she's just like me FR" kind of way. Both are from Scarlet and Violet, because that game really made a good impression on me. Some people may disagree, but I had the most fun playing that game, and I think it has the best story in a Pokémon game by far. I will say the first NPC I went absolutely crazy for was actually Guzma. I still love him a lot, actually.

Kanto
Hikari the Pikachu / Mina the Nidorina / Kaito the Clefable
Rex the Venusaur / Juby the Butterfree (☆) / Pandora the Mew
The team I beat Pokémon Let's Go: Pikachu with, with Hikari being my partner Pikachu. Juby is shiny and was caught as a Caterpie very early on in the Viridian Forest. Pandora is the Mew that came with the Pokéball Plus accessory for free.
Sinnoh
Amehiko the Empoleon / Denki the Luxray / Akane the Roserade
Wren the Staraptor / Jupiter the Jirachi / Chronos the Dialga
The team I beat Pokémon Brilliant Diamond with. This one is a funny story. For most of the game, I never really needed a sixth Pokémon, so by the time I caught Dialga, or Chronos, I just thought he could come along for the rest of the ride. If it wasn't obvious, I got Jupiter because of the free Jirachi you are gifted if you have SWSH data on your console.
Alola
Simon the Primarina / Emerson the (Midnight) Lycanroc / Snuggleboo the Stufful
Flynn the Sylveon / Sina the Tsareena / Annie the Lilligant
This is the team I beat Pokémon Moon with and my first team ever. It's kind of an odd one since, evidently, not all of the Pokémon are from Alola, but since it was my first time getting my hands on a Pokémon game, all of the Pokémon were new to me. I suppose the fact that I never evolved my Stufful also stands out. Well, since Stufful is my favorite Pokémon to this day, I brought her through the elite four without ever evolving her. She's the baby of the group, forever.
Galar

The team I beat Pokémon Shield with. A fun fact about Dulce is that she can Gigantamax, since she was caught in the Milcerie raid den event early on following the game's release. Yuki was obtained via the free Toxel egg you recieve as a gift and he was named after one of my Danganronpa OCs. The same goes for Hideki. Actually, Satsuki was also named after a character from a Danganronpa fan game, Satsuki Iranami from Danganronpa Another. This was because I thought Hatenna really resembled her, but not so much after evolving.
Paldea
Olive the Meowscarada / Ciel the Ceruledge / Eclair the Clodsire
Skipper the Pawmot / Mayu the Tinkaton / Athena the Arboliva (☆)
The team I beat Pokémon Violet with. Olive is also my first female starter Pokémon. Ceruledge became one of my favorite Pokémon very quickly, not only because it's so cool but also because I became really attached to mine, Ciel, after raising him as a Charcadet. Having a Pokémon that looks like a little kid follow you around in the overworld and that you can play with, pet, and take photos with made me really emotional... I normally would not have used Arboliva on my final team, but I found Athena as a Smoliv on my way to the first gym by random chance on the side of the road. Smoliv is so tiny, I almost didn't notice she was shiny.
My Shiny Pokémon Collection
Shiny hunting is one of my favorite mechanics in the Pokémon series, I enjoy the process of hunting and learning about the mechanic itself and how it has developed over the course of the series.
My very first shiny hunt was in Pokémon Moon for my favorite Pokémon, Stufful. Since then I've continued shiny hunting in each installemnt of the series. As of right now, I have succesfully caught 45 shinies, (and failed 3). At a later date I may also include my Pokémon Go shinies.

My Pokémon Plushies
In general, I really enjoy collecting stuffed animals, so naturally, I have a sizable collection of Pokémon plushies. These aren't in any order for the most part.
Build a Bear Eevee. She makes Eevee noises and I opted to add a scent patch so she smells like strawberries. Her name is Eden.
Pokémon Center Stufful. Stufful is my favorite Pokémon so this plush is one of my favorites. Gift from my father.

Pikachu Backpack. My sister won this one for me at the arcade. He's a backpack but the pocket is very small.
Toy Factory Popplio. My sister won him for me at Six Flags. This guy is odd. I think he's made of styrofoam but he's still cute.
