Overview

Rachnée was a young woman training to become a seamstress, but she was also renowned for her beauty. She ventured into the tower to rescue her father, who had strayed from the beaten path while traveling and looked to the tower for help finding his way home. Rachnée ended up giving her life in exchange for his, and she has been serving as the tower's live-in maid ever since her resurrection.

Rachnée is polite, refined, and dedicated to her work; she possesses all of the attributes you could ask for in a maid. She’s sharp-minded, clever, and more knowledgeable about the tower than anyone, save for the Necromancer himself. She can make quick work of any mess or problem. Moreover, Rachnée’s kindness and patience have led many to rely on her and look to her for guidance. Though she wears a near-constant smile, it is hard to believe someone could truly be happy in her situation…

Trivia

Rachnée keeps her eyes closed almost all of the time, but when she opens them, they are red with black sclera. She has two more eyes, which she also keeps closed, above her two main eyes. Her last four eyes are on the top of her head and more closely resemble real spider eyes. They are able to be mistaken for hair ornaments.
Rachnée’s hands and forearms are covered in an exoskeleton-like material, resembling gloves.
Rachnée doesn't need to eat often, but when she does, it has to be meat, usually raw.
Prolonged hunger or extreme stress may alter Rachnée’s behavior, causing her to act violently and erratically, eyes wide open. She is always largely ashamed and apologetic after these outbursts.
Rachnée has grown accustomed to just picking up Théo whenever she wants, usually by the back of his shirt collar or scarf. If it were anyone else he would absolutely not allow that but it's fine if it's her, even if it’s kind of embarrassing and the height makes him a little nervous at times.
Characters which inspired Rachnée include Kirumi Tojo from Danganronpa V3 and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Rachnée has sharp fangs and a paralyzing venomous bite.

Spider Legs

Rachnée stands at about seven feet, very tall on account of her legs. These legs can extend far, stab with their razor-sharp ends, and carry her, even up walls and on ceilings.

Spider Communication

Rachnée used to be afraid of spiders, but after being cursed, she realized she could now communicate with them and even befriended the spiders within the tower, who now help her with her chores and inform her of happenings throughout the structure. Meaning that Rachnée now has eyes everywhere.

Théo - Close Friend...more?

Rachnée was entrusted by the Necromancer with keeping Théo wound up as one of her chores. He was cold towards her at first, but that only made Rachnée even more determined to become friends, since after all, he needed her help whether he liked it or not. Once they got to know each other better, Théo realized he looked forward to talking to her everyday and eventually he started following her around while she works, which she doesn't seem to mind even though he's not much help. It remains to be seen if she's aware of his romantic feelings towards her.

The Necromancer - "Employer"

Out of all of his cursed subjects, Rachnée is the one that the Necromancer trusts and speaks to the most. For this reason there are many things Rachnée knows that nobody else in the tower is aware of. The Necromancer also appears to be at least somewhat concerned with Rachnée’s happiness, or at least considers it beneficial to him. He's willing to grant any request of hers outside of lifting her curse or letting her go.
